According to the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Fu Zhaogeng, a member of the Standing Committee of the 16th Beijing Municipal People's Congress, chair of the Rural Committee of the 16th Beijing Municipal People's Congress, and director of the Rural Office of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Congress, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
