Qinghai Vocational Skills Competition Will Kick Off on June 25

The Fourth Qinghai Province Vocational Skills Competition and the 22nd Workers' Vocational Skills Competition will open in Xining on June 25, with the two events being held together for the first time. The main venue is set at the Qinghai International Convention and Exhibition Center, and the competitions will also be held across 35 subvenues throughout the province.
With the theme "Skills Illuminate the Future, Talent Shines from the Source of the Three Rivers," this competition features a total of 121 events, covering three categories: World Skills selection events, selected provincial events, and special events, as well as 13 events for athletes with disabilities. A total of 2,607 contestants from 33 teams across the province will compete, ranging in age from 15 to 54.
During the competition, activities such as skills demonstrations and experiencesharing by outstanding contestants will also be held. Winning contestants will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals and corresponding honors based on their results. Eligible worker and teacher contestants may also be awarded titles such as "Qinghai Province Technical Expert" and "Technical Champion," and have their vocational skill levels promoted according to regulations.
