The animated film Agami, the story of Gon, a boy who grows gills underwater Check out the deeper relationship and comfort brought to life by the voice acting of Jung Hae-in and Kang Ha-neul

The animated film ‘Gills’ was released on the 9th. Directed by Ahn Jaehun, the work is based on the novel of the same name by author Gu Byeongmo, and depicts the relationship between a boy named Gon, who develops gills underwater, and the characters around him. Jung Haein voiced Gon, while Kang Haneul played the young man Kangha, who has a major influence on Gon. Although the voice acting was handled by actors rather than professional voice actors, giving it a somewhat rough feel, it has been praised for conveying the characters’ emotions more closely. Lee Cheongah plays Haeryu, who connects the relationship between Gon and Kangha, adding to the film’s atmosphere. The movie captures an unfamiliar, dreamlike sensibility through exotic settings such as the Seine in France and Italy rather than Korea, and conveys the message that even amid wounds, one can find relationships and comfort.
