Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, July 7 — Recently, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee allocated 60 million yuan from the party dues managed on behalf of the central government to support flood prevention and disaster relief efforts in five provinces and autonomous regions, including Guangxi and Gansu. The report said the funds will be used for local emergency rescue and disaster relief as well as related support work, and it requires that they be allocated to the grassroots level as soon as possible to ensure they are put to use in a timely manner. The relevant provinces and autonomous regions will also arrange matching funds from the party dues they manage at their respective levels, and jointly invest them in flood prevention and disaster relief.
