Recently, the Nanning maritime authorities carried out a "dual leadseal" operation on tourist vessels on the Yongjiang River, implementing sealed management for domestic sewage and oily wastewater discharge pipelines to further standardize the disposal of shipborne pollutants. According to reports, law enforcement officers conducted an onsite inspection of the tourist vessel "Jinsui Hao" at Minsheng Wharf in Nanning, jointly verified pipeline routing, sewage storage facilities, and discharge paths with enterprise technical personnel, and completed leadseal number registration, image retention, and information entry into the intelligent maritime supervision platform. Since 2020, Nanning has been promoting the construction of a "zerodischarge" navigation area for shipborne water pollutants. Garbage and sewage generated by ships are transferred and treated at the wharf by qualified entities. This "dual leadseal" operation is part of a related special campaign, aimed at reducing the risk of ship sewage entering the river from the source and improving the level of aquatic ecological protection in the Xijiang River basin.
