Chinese scientific research institutions release three commercial space achievements

Commercial space achievements released, advanced SAR payload and space traffic management platform enhance space management capabilities Covering the full lifecycle services of low-orbit satellites, helping remote sensing, navigation enhancement, and industrialization implementation

On September 19, institutions under the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of the Chinese Academy of Sciences collectively released three commercial space achievements, including advanced SAR satellite payloads, a space traffic management integrated service platform, and a precision orbital measurement service system for lowEarthorbit satellites. Among them, the "space traffic management platform" is mainly used to enhance situational awareness, risk identification, and emergency response capabilities in complex space environments. It adopts an open architecture and integrates functions such as situational awareness, analysis, decisionmaking, display, and simulation, and can serve the operations management of commercial satellite constellations and space mission planning. The other two achievements are respectively aimed at improving spacebased sensing capabilities and the full lifecycle management of lowEarthorbit satellites. Their application scenarios cover fields such as land survey, disaster monitoring, ocean observation, agricultural yield estimation, as well as satellite internet, remote sensing, and navigation enhancement. The research institution stated that these achievements reflect phased breakthroughs in key commercial space technologies and will provide support for subsequent industrialization.
