Fujian's transportation system is making every effort to respond to Typhoon "Bavi"

Super Typhoon No. 9 of this year, "Bawei," is approaching the coastal areas of Fujian. Fujian Province has raised the typhoon warning to Level III and activated a Level III typhoon emergency response. The Provincial Department of Transportation has also raised its defense response level accordingly, and the province's transportation system has entered a state of full alert. Maritime transport defenses are also being strengthened. Relevant Fujian port and shipping authorities have organized a large number of emergency teams and vessel supplies. Large equipment at coastal docks has been reinforced against wind, and production operations in some port areas have been suspended. As of the evening of the 9th, several passenger waterway routes and island ferry routes have been suspended, with all crossStrait routes halted, and all island ferry routes in Ningde have also stopped operating. Road and urban transportation保障 are also in place. Fujian has stocked emergency vehicle fleets and transport capacity. Fuzhou has inspected bus routes and stations prone to waterlogging. The metro system has also prepared floodcontrol supplies such as sandbags and submersible sewage pumps, and additional drainage equipment has been deployed at key stations. The expressway department, together with multiple departments, has carried out inspections of mountainous sections, sections with dense bridges and tunnels, and coastal road sections, focusing on preventing issues such as water accumulation, landslides, and drainage blockages.
