State Council Constitution Oath Ceremony: Li Qiang Supervises the Oath, 37 Heads Take Up Their New Posts in Accordance with the Law Focusing on administration according to law and performing duties with integrity, take a quick look at the State Council's latest arrangements
On June 9, a constitutional oathtaking ceremony was held by the State Council, with Premier Li Qiang overseeing the oath. A total of 37 heads of 33 departments and units appointed by the State Council took the constitutional oath in accordance with the law.
The ceremony began at 4:00 p.m. that day. After State Council SecretaryGeneral Wu Zhenglong announced the start of the oath, everyone stood up and sang the national anthem. The oath leader then placed his hand on the Constitution and led the recitation of the oath, while the other oathtakers repeated after him.
In his speech, Li Qiang stressed that newly appointed cadres should meet higher standards in political ability, performance capability, and work style development, take the lead in upholding the rule of law and safeguarding the authority of the Constitution, administer according to law, remain clean and honest, and play their role in promoting policy implementation, conducting investigations and research, solving practical problems, and advancing highquality development. Leading comrades of the State Council and responsible comrades of relevant departments attended the ceremony.
