Actor Jung Ilwoo directly shared the diagnosis of a cerebral aneurysm and the changes in his mindset afterward. In a YouTube video released on the 21st, he said that before enlisting in the military, he underwent a medical examination for severe headaches, and that a cerebral aneurysm was discovered during the process. Jung Ilwoo explained that while this disease is known to be difficult to fully cure, he was told after longterm followup examinations that he is now safe. He recalled that after the sudden diagnosis, he reflected on his life and went through a period of anxiety. He also said that immediately after the diagnosis, he walked the Santiago Pilgrimage Route. On the pilgrimage trail, he strengthened his resolve by empathizing with and sharing comfort with people who had similar experiences, and said that after shedding tears at a cathedral mass, he became much calmer.
