On July 31, the National Healthcare Security Administration announced that the 12th batch of nationally organized drug bulk procurement opened bidding in Shanghai and produced proposed winning results. A total of 65 drugs were successfully procured, and 521 products from 327 companies obtained proposed winning qualifications. This is the largest batch of nationally organized drug bulk procurement so far.
This procurement covers multiple common and major disease treatment areas, including lowering blood pressure, lowering blood lipids, lowering blood sugar, antitumor, antithrombotic, and antiinfection drugs, involving medicines for chronic diseases and lifesaving drugs. A total of 45,000 medical institutions participated in reporting demand.
The National Healthcare Security Administration said that the proposed winning results will be officially announced after the public notice period. Since its establishment, the National Healthcare Security Administration has organized 12 batches of nationally organized drug bulk procurement, bringing a cumulative total of 555 drugs into the program.
