Daesan Port in Seosan, Chungnam, has continued to serve as the home port for an international cruise ship for three consecutive years, expanding its position as a key marine tourism hub. According to Seosan City, the international cruise ship Costa Serena departed from Daesan Port on the 13th, carrying more than 2,100 passengers and more than 1,100 crew members. The ship used Daesan Port as its home port again this year, following 2024 and last year, and this voyage is its final schedule. Over the course of 6 nights and 7 days, Costa Serena is scheduled to arrive at Busan Port on the 19th via Okinawa, Japan, and Keelung, Taiwan. Before departure, Seosan City operated a promotional booth at the Daesan Port International Passenger Terminal to promote local agricultural and specialty products as well as tourism resources, and provided 500 kg of potatoes to help promote the Palbongsan Potato Festival.
