A meeting on central-level efforts to address formalism and reduce burdens on the grassroots was held in Beijing

On July 10, the meeting of the centrallevel special working mechanism for addressing formalism and reducing burdens at the primary level was held in Beijing, and Cai Qi attended and delivered a speech. The meeting emphasized that the effort to address formalism should be combined with reducing burdens for the primary level and advancing the implementation of the Party’s mission and tasks. Centered on education regarding a correct view of achievements, related work should be steadily advanced, and the results of burden reduction should be translated into governance effectiveness. The meeting also proposed focusing on prominent issues such as being eager for quick results and shortterm gains, making blind decisions, and falsifying statistics, strengthening oversight, inspections, assessments, and the management of documents and meetings, promoting the prompt rectification of issues strongly reflected by the primary level, and improving longterm mechanisms.
