President Lee Jaemyung met again with U.S. President Donald Trump after three weeks in Ankara, Turkey, where the NATO summit was held, and decided to begin followup discussions related to the construction of U.S. military vessels. According to Senior Presidential Spokesperson Kang Yujung, the two leaders spoke at the welcome dinner hosted by Turkish President Erdogan and agreed to continue workinglevel consultations to review specific implementation measures based on South Korea's shipbuilding technology. The golf meeting mentioned last month was also confirmed again. The two sides decided to coordinate President Lee's visit to the United States and, once the schedule is finalized, to push ahead with a private golf round with President Trump.
