Karamay, Xinjiang, China News Service, June 12 — The ChinaShanghai Cooperation Organization Big Data Cooperation Center and its Xinjiang branch have jointly completed the target of training 1,000 people for the "SCO Tree" digital technology training program.
Since the program was launched in 2023, it has mainly targeted government officials, enterprise technical personnel, and young people from universities in SCO member states, with a focus on addressing issues such as a shortage of digital talent and uneven technological development.
The report also mentioned that, leveraging relevant platforms, Karamay is promoting cooperation in areas such as digital infrastructure, crossborder data security, and lowaltitude economy, and has facilitated the signing of more than 40 memorandums of cooperation between local educational institutions, enterprises, and overseas organizations, advancing projects such as talent development and business matchmaking.
