The number of Communist Youth League members nationwide has reached 78.336 million

On May 3, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League released the latest statistical data on the League. The data show that, as of the end of December 2025, the total number of Communist Youth League members nationwide was 78.336 million, an increase of 3.018 million from the end of 2024; the total number of Communist Youth League organizations reached 5.15 million, up by 753,000 from the previous year. From the organizational structure perspective, grassroots League branches remain the main body. League organizations of varying scales are distributed across schools, government agencies and public institutions, stateowned and collectively owned enterprises, as well as urban streets, townships, communities, and administrative villages. Among them, school League organizations and League members account for the largest share. The statistics also show that 9.137 million new League members were developed nationwide in 2025.
