Parallel Forum of the Liaoning Sister Cities Conference Focuses on the Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Art Education

A parallel forum of the 2026 Liaoning International Sister Cities Conference was held on the 11th at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music, under the theme “Integration of Intelligence and Art — International Forum on the Innovative Development of Art Education Driven by Artificial Intelligence.” More than 100 experts, scholars, and industry representatives from home and abroad exchanged views on how artificial intelligence can promote the transformation of art education.
At the forum, officials from Liaoning Province and relevant departments said they hoped to use this platform to promote the digital development of art education and the enhancement of aesthetic education. Tian Yan, president of the Shenyang Conservatory of Music, proposed initiatives such as jointly building a sistercities smart art education community, jointly building a digital resource library, and jointly cultivating crosscultural innovative talent, emphasizing that international cooperation should drive innovation in art education.
Scholars from Belarus, Australia, and other places shared their experiences in applying artificial intelligence to music education, traditional music research, and composition. Participants also discussed topics such as the digitization of cultural heritage, generative AI, artistic creation and performance, humanmachine collaboration, and the cultivation of interdisciplinary talent, and said they would continue to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation.
