Chief of Staff Kang Hoonsik presided over a related situation review meeting on the 5th, and the government plans to immediately send personnel from the Korean Register's Dubai branch to conduct a vessel safety inspection. In addition, investigators from the Central Maritime Safety Tribunal and forensic experts from the National Fire Agency will also be dispatched to the site to determine the cause separately from the shipping company's investigation.
