The CPC Central Committee Commends National Outstanding Communist Party Members and Other Advanced Groups and Individuals

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, July 1 — The CPC Central Committee issued a decision to commend outstanding Communist Party members nationwide, outstanding Party affairs workers nationwide, and advanced grassroots Party organizations nationwide, in celebration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. In this commendation, the Party Central Committee awarded 141 comrades including Wu Jianping the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Member Nationwide," and posthumously awarded 8 comrades including Gu Songfen the same title; awarded 150 comrades including Meng Ermei the title of "Outstanding Party Affairs Worker Nationwide"; and awarded 399 grassroots Party organizations including the Party Branch of the Atmospheric Environment Division of the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau the title of "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization Nationwide." The decision pointed out that the commended individuals and groups come from all walks of life, fully reflecting the spirit and demeanor of Communist Party members, Party affairs workers, and grassroots Party organizations in the new era. The Party Central Committee calls on all Party members and Party organizations at all levels to learn from the advanced, strengthen their ideals and convictions, serve the people, act pragmatically and take responsibility, strictly observe Party discipline and rules, and play a greater role in advancing Chinese modernization.
