Lee Jun-young confesses to financial hardship and night shifts at a convenience store after his idol debut

Actor Lee Junyoung opened up about the financial hardships he experienced after debuting as an idol group member of UKISS on tvN’s variety show 'You Quiz on the Block.' Lee Junyoung said that during a time when he had little activity in Korea and almost no extra income, he worked a night parttime job at a convenience store in front of his house before going to the practice room. He said that while working, he unexpectedly ran into his agency manager and felt deeply humiliated, eventually breaking down in tears. He also added that the manager, who learned about the situation in which he had to work secretly because he was burdened with debt at the time, was also moved to tears. Lee Junyoung reflected that he was able to reach where he is now after enduring those difficult times.
