Consultation underway for an SNU-NVIDIA joint research lab, 기대 for strengthening domestic AI competitiveness Check out collaboration in Physical AI, robotics, semiconductors, and internships

On the 24th, Seoul National University announced that it is discussing the establishment of the first joint research lab at a Korean university with Nvidia. If this collaboration comes to fruition, SNU will operate an AI Technology Center joint lab together with NVAITC, Nvidia's global university collaboration network. The two sides plan to identify joint projects in the fields of physical AI and robotics, accelerated computing, and semiconductors, and also promote exchanges among members as well as student internship and mentoring programs. They are also discussing ways to build a nationallevel sovereign AI testbed using the AI infrastructure at SNU's Siheung Campus. SNU has been expanding its ties with Nvidia, and recently CEO Jensen Huang and his eldest daughter, Madison Huang, who heads Nvidia's robotics marketing, visited SNU one after another. SNU believes this collaboration will help strengthen Korea's AI competitiveness.
