Gansu Launches National Level IV Disaster Relief Emergency Response

According to a message from the website of the Ministry of Emergency Management, on July 7, the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Committee initiated a Level IV national disaster relief emergency response in response to the landslide disaster in Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province. Relevant departments stated that after the response is activated, they will guide and assist local authorities in carrying out work such as consoling the families of the deceased, treating the injured, and relocating and resettling affected residents, so as to promptly advance postdisaster relief and emergency response efforts.
