Incheon Seohae District ordered nearby residents to evacuate after the possibility of building collapse was raised due to a fire at the Coupang 32 logistics center in Seoknamdong.
The fire has continued since the 18th, and the National Fire Agency even issued a national fire mobilization order and began suppression efforts, but the flames had not been fully brought under control by the night of the 19th.
As the fire dragged on, smoke spread to apartment complexes 1 to 2 km away from the site, and Seohae District recommended that 31 nearby daycare centers close temporarily. Nearby elementary schools also decided to suspend classes on the 20th.
