President Lee Jae-myung heads home after attending Mongolia's Naadam Festival as the guest of honor

President Lee Jaemyung attended the opening ceremony of the Naadam Festival held at the National Sports Stadium in Ulaanbaatar on the 11th, the final day of his state visit to Mongolia, as the chief guest, the first South Korean president to do so. First Lady Kim Hyekyung accompanied him, and Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and his wife also took part in the event.
The Mongolian government showed due respect with a mounted parade carrying a large Taegeukgi and traditional performances. In his opening remarks, President Khurelsukh expressed gratitude for President Lee’s attendance, and the presidential couple responded to the audience’s applause.
After the opening ceremony, President Lee visited the archery field and the shagai field to experience traditional Mongolian culture. He then attended a farewell luncheon hosted by President Khurelsukh, wrapping up his threeday, twonight visit to Mongolia and setting off on his return home.
