Han Zheng Meets Former New Zealand Prime Minister John Key

On July 15, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with former New Zealand Prime Minister John Key in Beijing, and the two sides exchanged views on ChinaNew Zealand relations and related cooperation. Han Zheng said that China appreciates John Key’s longterm contributions to the development of ChinaNew Zealand relations and is willing to work with New Zealand to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continue to expand cooperation in areas such as trade, economy and agriculture, and promote the development of bilateral relations. John Key said that New Zealand is optimistic about the opportunities in the Chinese market and is willing to continue promoting cooperation between the two countries in trade, investment, agriculture and other areas, and jointly address regional and global challenges through dialogue.
