The Financial Services Commission said that cumulative sales of the second publicparticipation National Growth Fund reached 316.2 billion won in the first four days after launch. This accounts for 52.7% of the total target of 600 billion won. The remaining allocation was confirmed at a total of 283.43 billion won through banks and securities firms. The portion for banks is 205.91 billion won, and the portion for securities firms is 77.52 billion won. The FSC explained that the current return on the first fund is 1.40%. Compared with the declines in the KOSPI and KOSDAQ over the same period, the performance is relatively solid. The FSC assessed that institutional measures such as fiscal support and subordinated reinforcement of the fund manager's seeding investment amount are producing some effects.
