Han Zheng Meets with Singapore Parliament Speaker Seah Kian Peng

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, June 12. On the same day in Beijing, Vice President Han Zheng met with visiting Speaker of the Singapore Parliament Seah Kian Peng. Han Zheng said that China and Singapore are friendly neighbors and important cooperative partners. The Chinese side is willing to continue working with the Singaporean side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen strategic communication, expand highquality cooperation, promote peopletopeople exchanges, and drive new progress in the allround, highquality, forwardlooking partnership between China and Singapore. The two sides also exchanged views on multilateral cooperation. Han Zheng pointed out that the two countries should jointly support a world multipolarization that is equal and orderly, and economic globalization that is inclusive and beneficial to all, and promote more just and reasonable global governance. Seah Kian Peng said that the Singaporean side values the SingaporeChina partnership, is willing to further deepen bilateral cooperation, and reiterated its firm commitment to the OneChina policy.
