The Supreme People’s Procuratorate recently released typical cases from the special campaign “Protecting People’s Livelihood,” showcasing how procuratorial organs have continued to focus on issues affecting people’s livelihoods, such as personal information protection, ecological and environmental governance, protection of workers’ rights and interests, and the safety of social security funds. Related work will be further advanced in the opening year of the “15th FiveYear Plan,” with the goal of making judicial protection felt more directly by the public. The report mentioned that in a case involving “online doxxing,” procuratorial organs worked together with public security, cyberspace, and industry and information departments to investigate and resolve the crime chain, and promoted the cleanup of related websites and groups in order to reduce the risk of personal information leaks. At the same time, through public interest litigation and procuratorial recommendations, procuratorial organs also promoted the rectification of issues such as wastewater treatment, recovery of labor remuneration, and supervision of social security funds. The article points out that procuratorial organs will continue to focus on key fields, key groups, and prominent livelihood issues, handle every case well in accordance with the law, and enhance the public’s sense of gain, security, and fairness under the rule of law.
