On July 14, the Red Cross Society of China launched a Level IV emergency response for the flood disaster in Chengde, Hebei, and allocated a total of 10,000 disaster relief items, including relief family kits, hygiene kits, quilts, and towel blankets, according to the actual needs of the disaster area. These supplies will mainly be used to support the relocation and resettlement of affected residents and to ensure their basic living needs, helping the local area cope with the impact of the flood disaster. At present, the relevant rescue and support work is still underway.
