Shanxi Natural Resources System Supports Grassroots Efforts to Help Lingchuan with Land Use Assurance

Since March this year, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Natural Resources, together with the Provincial Geological Survey Bureau and the Provincial Forestry and Grassland Bureau, has sent support task forces to multiple areas to provide services focused on project land use, planning adjustments, and resource revitalization. In Lingchuan County, the relevant measures have focused on issues such as the difficulty of getting mountainous projects implemented and slow landuse approval. For the G207 Line Lingchuan County Bypass Relocation Project, support personnel went to the site to verify the situation, guided local efforts to explore advance landuse approval, assisted in improving the preparation of the special report, and helped push the project to achieve priority lawful entry for construction in July 2026, buying time for fullline opening to traffic by the end of 2028. In terms of revitalizing existing land resources, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Natural Resources has listed the redevelopment of lowefficiency land in Lingchuan as a key support item, guiding local efforts to improve the territorial spatial plan, establish a categorized promotion mechanism, and promote the conversion of idle factory buildings, rural houses, and other resources into space for projects such as breeding and health care. The locality has currently revitalized multiple parcels of lowefficiency land and made progress in areas such as the disposal of approved but unsupplied land, project landuse approval, and real estate registration.
