The Global Influencer Association, GINCON, has appointed global marketing expert Joo Sungkyun as its new representative. The new representative Joo has handled marketing and consumer communication for global consumer goods brands for about 20 years at companies such as Red Bull Korea and Pernod Ricard's Absolut Group. With this appointment as an opportunity, GINCON plans to fully pursue key initiatives including building an influencer support platform, establishing overseas branches, setting up a professional training system, and protecting influencers' rights and interests. The association said it will create a sustainable activity environment based on its global network of 390 teams in 66 countries and a total of 170 million followers.
