Lee Eon-ju: “After 1 year in power, we must fulfill the responsibilities of the ruling party”

Rep. Lee Eonju of the Democratic Party of Korea said on the 20th that the new leadership must clearly define its responsibility as the ruling party. He stressed that the attitude of acting like the opposition party, even after a year as the ruling party, must change.
Rep. Lee said on Facebook that the support base should understand the role of the ruling party and its responsibility to the country. He stated that they should also share a vision for what needs to be done on major issues such as the economy and diplomacy, and how to persuade the opposition.
He also pointed out that politics aimed only at opposing extreme supporters could stall the administration, and added that patience and trust are necessary to become the true mainstream.
