Morning low of 12 degrees, late rain on the East Coast and in the Gyeongbuk region

On Tuesday the 8th, cool weather is expected to continue, with morning temperatures dropping to as low as 12 degrees in some areas. Daytime temperatures are forecast to range from 24 to 31 degrees, with mornings somewhat cooler than average and daytime highs about the same as average. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, most inland areas will be mostly clear, but the East Coast will be cloudy, and some places may see rain starting in the late afternoon. Rain is expected to begin in the northern East Coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, then spread at night to the Gangwon East Coast and mountains, as well as the northern East Coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province. Expected rainfall is 5 to 40 mm in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, 5 to 20 mm on the Gangwon East Coast, and 5 to 10 mm on the northern East Coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province. Ulleungdo and Dokdo are expected to receive less than 5 mm of rain.
