Registration for the 2026 National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination Opens on June 15

The Ministry of Justice recently issued an announcement that registration for the objective test of the 2026 National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination will begin on June 15 and continue until June 29, with the payment deadline set for July 4. Relevant arrangements have been announced on the Ministry of Justice website.
The announcement states that starting in 2026, a new round of examination relaxation policies will be implemented. In some relaxed regions, the educational requirements corresponding to the household registration conditions for applicants may be relaxed to a bachelor's degree. Graduating students expected to receive bachelor's, master's, or higher degrees in 2027 from regular fulltime colleges and universities or military academies, as well as eligible nonlaw bachelor's degree holders or above who have engaged in legal work for at least three years, may still apply.
The examination will continue to be computerbased; candidates who truly have difficulties due to physical conditions, age, or other reasons may use pen and paper for the subjective test. The objective test for 2026 will be held on September 12 and 13, and the subjective test will be held on October 18.
