From June 8 to 9, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of the People’s Republic of China, paid a state visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
During the visit, Xi Jinping attended the welcoming ceremony, held talks with Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and jointly attended the welcome banquet, cultural performance, visit to the ChinaKorea Friendship Tower, and a visit to the Central Cadre School of the Workers’ Party of Korea, among other activities.
