Son Heung-min scores in four straight MLS matches after the World Cup

Son Heungmin (LAFC) quickly regained his scoring touch right after the 2026 World Cup in North America, recording four consecutive goals in MLS. In an away match of Round 19 of the MLS held on the 2nd at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, Son Heungmin received a pass from Denis Bouanga in the 38th minute of the first half and scored the opening goal. With this goal, Son Heungmin recorded his fourth goal of the season, and LAFC drew 11 with the Vancouver Whitecaps. In the early part of the season, Son Heungmin had only recorded assists without scoring, and he also failed to register a goal contribution at the World Cup, but after the tournament he regained his attacking form through his chemistry with Bouanga.
