Mourning Workers and Calling for Measures Amid the Heat Wave

At Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, KCTU members laid flowers in remembrance of workers who died from the heat, ahead of a press conference on the launch and plan announcement of the '2026 KCTU Heatwave Monitoring Team' on the 1st.
This event was held to raise awareness of the repeated heatwave damage occurring during summer outdoor work and to emphasize the need for safety measures for workers.
At the event site, messages were also included calling for the prevention of heatrelated industrial accidents and stronger protective measures.
