New progress in energy and transportation during National Day: breakthroughs in oil and gas, solar storage, pumped storage, and high-speed rail tunnels See major national equipment accelerating into reality, and gain insight into new momentum for China's high-quality development

During the National Day holiday, multiple sectors in our country, including energy, transportation, and emergency rescue, made new progress, with a number of major projects and nationally significant equipment achieving breakthroughs in a concentrated manner. In the energy sector, cumulative oil and gas production from below 6,000 meters at the HaduFuman oil field surpassed 26 million tonnes; the main construction of our country’s first offshore carbon injection and enhanced oil recovery platform was completed, and the first 100megawatt carbon dioxide compressed energy storage project was connected to the grid and began generating electricity; the Qinghai Gonghe millionkilowatt photovoltaicthermal project and the Langjiang pumpedstorage project in Zhaoqing, Guangdong also reached key milestones. In equipment and transportation construction, the domestically developed AG600 "Kunlong" completed its northern Xinjiang garrison support mission, the Gaoliang Tunnel on the Yan'an–Yulin HighSpeed Railway was completed, shield tunneling for the second subsea tunnel of the Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay was finished, and track laying has begun on the entire ChengduDazhouWanzhou HighSpeed Railway line. These developments reflect the continued progress our country is making in clean energy, major equipment, and infrastructure construction.
