The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that China has consistently advocated for the early lifting of unilateral sanctions related to Iran, and hopes that the United States and Iran will jointly implement the memorandum of understanding they have signed and continue to advance the negotiation process.
On July 1, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the above remarks at the regular press conference. That day, a reporter asked about the United States lifting sanctions on Iran, as well as how the Chinese government and companies should respond to the changing situation.
China emphasized that the Iran issue should seek a comprehensive political solution through dialogue and negotiations.
