Yuhan Corporation, which is marking its 100th anniversary, has turned its former headquarters building into a complex cultural space and opened it to the public. The company said it hopes to honor founder Dr. Yoo Ilhan's spirit of giving back to society through this space. On the 24th, Yuhan Corporation held a press briefing in Dongjakgu, Seoul, and unveiled the renovated “Willow House.” The building served as its headquarters for 35 years starting in 1962, and it was given its new name after the willow tree, the company’s symbol. Inside the space, a memorial hall has been set up to introduce the life of Dr. Yoo Ilhan and the history of Yuhan Corporation. At the entrance, a will stating his intention to return his assets to society is also on display. Yuhan Corporation plans to operate this space as a hub for communication with the local community.
