A woman in her 70s was found dead after collapsing in a vegetable garden in Damyang, South Jeolla Province, where a heat wave warning had been issued. Fire officials and police are considering the possibility that she died from a heatrelated illness. At around 6:03 p.m. on the 2nd, a report was received that a woman in her 70s, identified as A, had collapsed in the yard of a house in Goseomyeon, Damyang County. A was lying collapsed in a chili pepper garden, and by the time paramedics arrived, she was already dead. Medical staff at a nearby hospital presumed the cause of A's death to be a heatrelated illness. On the same day, a man in his 70s who had collapsed in a field in Shinan County was also found dead, and police are investigating the exact circumstances.
