The band Soran announced on the 18th the release of its EP 'Layer', marking a fresh start as a oneman project led by Go Youngbae. The showcase was held that day at MPMG's headquarters in Mapogu, Seoul, where Go Youngbae personally explained the changes in the team's form and the meaning of the new album.
Soran debuted as a fourmember band in 2010, then went through lineup changes before recently transitioning into a oneman project band. Go Youngbae said this album is a work that captures the time and experience he has accumulated while continuing his activities on his own.
The title track 'Before the Breakup' is a song that contains the emotions leading up to a breakup, conveying a more poignant mood than Soran's existing bright and lively style. The album includes a total of five tracks: 'Draw an Apple', 'Delivery', 'Ceremony', and 'Greeting'.
After the music is released, Soran is scheduled to take the stage at the 'Joy Ol Park Festival' and 'Grand Mint Festival 2026', and Go Youngbae said he will continue his activities steadily in the future.
