Shin Goo and Park Geun-hyung to Hold a Charity Performance of 'The Merchant of Venice'

Veteran actors Shin Goo and Park Keunhyung will hold one of the additional performances of the play 'The Merchant of Venice' as a charity performance for young theater artists.
The production company Park Company announced on the 3rd that it has scheduled four additional performances for this production, which opens in July, and that the performance on July 11 will be operated as a 'Theater Tomorrow Fund charity performance.'
The 'Theater Tomorrow Fund' began last year when the two actors held a charity performance of the play 'Waiting for Godot,' and was established with the Korean Arts Council to support young theater artists. About 1,000 people applied to the open recruitment, and 30 finalists were selected and went through workshops and training.
In this 'The Merchant of Venice,' Shin Goo and Park Keunhyung will be joined by Lee Seungjoo, Kai, Choi Sooyoung, Won Jinah, Lee Sangyoon, Kim Seulgi, Kim Ahyoung, Park Myunghoon, and Jo Dalhwan, while five actors from the 'Theater Tomorrow' project will also appear on stage.
