The construction of major scientific facilities in our country has accelerated significantly in recent years, and multiple regional clusters have taken shape, providing important support for basic research and technological breakthroughs. Using projects such as the China Sky Eye FAST, the High Intensity Heavyion Accelerator Facility, and the High Energy Photon Source as examples, the article reviews the role these major science and technology infrastructure projects have played in improving scientific research capabilities. In Guizhou, FAST resumed observations after completing the replacement of domestically produced steel wire ropes, continuously generating key observational data such as pulsars. In Huizhou, Guangdong, the High Intensity Heavyion Accelerator Facility passed process acceptance and entered trial operation, with related key equipment and core software having achieved domestic production and independent controllability. In Huairou, Beijing, after trial operation of the High Energy Photon Source, it has already served multiple user experiments and been applied in research areas such as aircraft engines and new energy batteries. The article also points out that China's total R&D expenditure across society and its ranking in the Global Innovation Index have continued to rise in recent years. Major scientific facilities are further moving from being merely 'well built' to being truly 'usable,' while forming a closer connection between basic research and industrial innovation.
