As OCI Holdings' stock price has risen sharply this year, the value of OCI Holdings shares held by Kumho Petrochemical has increased, while the value of Kumho Petrochemical shares held by OCI Holdings has decreased. According to the financial investment industry, OCI Holdings' stock closed at KRW 271,500 on June 18, about three times higher than at the beginning of the year. As a result, the current appraised value of the shares exchanged in 2021, each worth KRW 31.5 billion, has risen to about KRW 81 billion for the OCI Holdings stake held by Kumho Petrochemical, while the Kumho Petrochemical stake held by OCI Holdings has fallen to around KRW 21.9 billion.
