Central Work Safety Assessment and Inspection Begins, Accepting Clues on Issues and Hidden Hazards
The work safety assessment and inspection teams will be stationed in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in June to identify hidden hazard clues. From June 10 to July 10, issues can be reported to promote rectification and risk prevention and control.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, in accordance with the 2026 central work plan for safety production assessment inspections, starting in June, 24 central safety production assessment inspection teams will successively be stationed in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, to carry out announced and unannounced inspections in the second and third quarters.
From June 10 to July 10, the Office of the State Council Safety Production Committee will accept leads on safety production problems and hidden hazards reported by the public and employees through three channels: the internet, telephone, and letters. The matters accepted mainly include major accident hazards existing in production and business entities, illegal and unlawful activities, as well as issues such as concealing or underreporting accidents, inaction in supervision and law enforcement, and corruption.
Relevant departments said they hope all sectors of society will actively provide leads and truthfully reflect the local safety production situation, so as to promote rectification and risk inspection.
