According to a July 2 announcement from the Organization Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Committee recently decided to appoint Comrade Wang Jian as Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Public records show that Wang Jian was born in February 1972. In 2025, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Committee and Mayor. Taizhou is located in eastern Zhejiang and on the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta. It is an important regional central city and a modern port city in the area.
