Samsung Electronics unveiled its new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, and Z Flip8, at 'Galaxy Unpacked 2026' held in London, UK on the 22nd (local time). This product lineup focused on enhancing the content viewing and multitasking experience.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 newly adopts a 4:3 aspect ratio, increasing immersion for video, reading, gaming, and web surfing, and it also features display technology that reduces screen creasing. The Fold8 Ultra is a premium model with enhanced camera and battery performance, highlighting ultrahighresolution shooting and editing capabilities.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 comes in a thinner and lighter design, and the AI features on the external display have also been enhanced. Samsung Electronics explained that this new product is the most refined model among its foldable lineup, and domestic preorders will begin on the 28th, with the official launch rolling out sequentially from August 7.
