The Chinese Embassy in Russia Holds a Reception to Celebrate the 99th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army

The Chinese Embassy in Russia held a reception in Moscow on the 24th local time to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Attending the event were about 900 people from various sectors in China and Russia, as well as foreign military attachés in Russia, including Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui, Defense Attaché Li Yuge, and Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Osyamakov. In her speech, Li Yuge introduced the development history of the Chinese military and emphasized that China adheres to a defensive national defense policy, does not pursue expansion, and is committed to safeguarding world peace and stability. She said that the armed forces of China and Russia will continue to advance pragmatic cooperation under the principles of nonalignment, nonconfrontation, and not targeting any third party, contributing to the maintenance of global strategic stability. Osyamakov said that the Chinese and Russian armed forces have a solid foundation of mutual trust, and that the two sides maintain cooperation in areas such as joint exercises and experience exchange. A photo exhibition themed "A Mighty Force, A Force for Peace" was also displayed at the event.
