The second arrest warrant for former Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station Criminal Investigation Division Chief Superintendent A, who directed the investigation into the “Jang Yungi case,” was also rejected by the court. This ruling came from the Gwangju District Court on the 31st.
The court said that even after reviewing the additionally secured materials, there was room for dispute over the charges, and that at this stage it was difficult to recognize the necessity and appropriateness of detention.
