Guangxi heavy rainfall warning: Persistent heavy rain may occur in the northern and eastern areas from July 19 to 21 The national Level-IV flood response has been activated. Please stay updated on warnings in a timely manner and make preparations for flood prevention and disaster mitigation

According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, the meteorological department expects persistent heavy rainfall in northern and eastern Guangxi from July 19 to 21, with cumulative rainfall in some parts of eastern Guangxi possibly reaching 300 to 450 millimeters. In accordance with the National Emergency Response Plan for Flood and Drought Relief and relevant regulations, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters activated a Level IV flood control emergency response for Guangxi at 17:00 on July 19. This response is mainly aimed at addressing the flood risks that may be brought by the heavy rainfall, reminding local relevant departments to strengthen monitoring and early warning, hazard inspection, and emergency preparedness to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
